Stories That Transform Communities
At Edify, we believe every nonprofit has a story that can inspire change. That’s why we’re proud to launch our annual Edify Nonprofit IMPACT (Innovative Media Projects and Community Transformation) Grant, designed to help organizations bring their mission to life on screen.
Each year, two nonprofits will be selected to receive customized creative storytelling support valued at up to $10,000. This grant represents our investment in amplifying voices that make a difference—providing strategy, film production, and post-production services to elevate your organization’s voice, strengthen communications, and inspire deeper community engagement.
WHO SHOULD APPLY
Is your organization a fit for the IMPACT Grant?
The IMPACT Grant is open to nonprofit organizations of all sizes and missions. Whether you’re a small grassroots group or an established organization, if you are committed to making a difference and ready to share your story with the world, you’re encouraged to apply.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
- Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton, Colleton, Charleston counties in South Carolina, and Chatham County, GA
- Have a clear communications or fundraising need for a brand film
- Designate a staff liaison to coordinate project logistics
- Commit to participating in one pre-production story workshop and providing timely feedback during editing
GRANT TIMELINE
Grant Journey and Key Dates
Applications for the Edify IMPACT Grant open on September 15, 2025. Nonprofits will have until November 14, 2025 to submit their applications. After careful review, the grant winners will be announced on December 15, 2025, with production of the awarded projects beginning in January 2026.

SERVICES PROVIDED
Turning Your Mission into Stories That Matter
The grant begins with a story strategy session to identify your organization’s most impactful narrative. Our team then brings your mission to life with on-location filming and produces a 2–5 minute cinematic cornerstone film to inspire donors and strengthen your story. We also create 30–60 second social media cutdowns for maximum reach, all enhanced with licensed music, professional color grading, and sound design for a polished, high-quality production.
